The Music

 Brent Talks About The Music

Brent Rozell talks about the music and its power.

Music has always been a part of my life. The songs that I play speak to me depending upon my mood. I feel the thing that sets me apart as a musician is that I do not play from my head; I play from my heart as I feel that is the way music is supposed to be played, and not just imitated. My years of experience have taught me that music is a gift from God and I want to make the most of my gifts and share them with the world.

As far as song writing, I write a variety of styles, much like I play a variety of styles. I don’t want to be pigeon holed as a particulars style artist. But instead, a versatile talented musician who can wear many different hats and be comfortable in them.

Testimonials

"Look out for Brent Rozell, he plays with fire and passion and with his own unique style" - Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen)

"If I didn't already have a guitar player that I was happy with I would hire you in a heart beat.  And if he ever decides to leave I'm calling you" - Toby Keith (Toby Keith)

"I have been working in Atlantic City for years and you are one of the funkiest white boys I have ever heard" - Will Lee (Bass player, David Letterman Band)

"Brent blew me away with his Texas blues rockin' licks.  Especially with what he does with his volume control, he can sure make that guitar talk.  I am going to steal this for myself, with his permission" - Howard Leese (lead guitar player for Heart)

"I heard Brent during rehearsal and I wanted to jump on stage and see if I could borrow a few licks.  He was smokin' "  - Jerry Reed (country guitar legend)

"Brent reminds me of a faster version of Dickie Betts" - Gary Stewart

"I heard Brent during sound check warming up and then said said to my stage manager,... I have to follow that..." - J.B.Pennington (lead guitar player and vocalist for Exile)

"Brent's playing is like listening to a cross between B.B.King and Santana" - Michael Basden (Keyboard player for Janie Firicke)
