Headed back into the studio! -
Brent Rozell and the Soulmates are back in the studio working on their third CD "It's About Love", it will contain seven new originals and four remakes of some favorite classics done "Soulmates style" with unique passion and flair. Look for the CD to be released later this year. There will be guest artists featured on this CD that I have known for many years that you won't want to miss.... It will be guitar heaven.

Focus on the festivals... -
From what I can tell this year is going to include a lot of outdoor festival dates along with our corporate events, clubs and restaurant shows. I am looking forward to focusing on outdoor festivals this year as I really enjoy entertaining large crowds.

Getting out.! -
Bet you been wondering what I've been doing lately. After having to slow things down some a bit to help take care of my parents, whom have joined each other in heaven, I'm slowly climbing into the game.I've joined Vince Vance and the Variants, little over a year ago,and made that my main focus. Now we have a break in our tour, I'm booking the Soulmates band again so look out,I'm far from done yet. I met some wonderful people on the road, one of them Kenny " the Snake" Stabler football legend, turns out he plays guitar also, and told me I could play my "a" off,and would to hear me with my band.We backed up the legend of female R&B singers Irma Thomas twice so far,and opened for Harry Connick Jr,and Trombone Shorty, during Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and performed on Carnival Conquest Cruise line, and didn't get stuck at Sea! Been writing some new songs, hopefully will get back to studio this year.I will continue to work with Vince Vance some and my shows back on market in near future, thank you for your support and prayers during the difficult time of losing both parents so close together, don't give up on me yet because I'm far from done! Look for posting for a few local shows and come out and see me and say hello,Thanks Brent.

I've been asked.... -
... to perfom for some new upcoming artists on their original projects. Another chance for me to reach a younger audience and broaden my musical horizon. Plus it fun to to run with the young ones and show them I can still keep up!

In passing.... -
